Thomas Mercer - Slave clock
Thomas Mercer - Slave clock

A stunning little clock that is in brushed partly polished nickel steel and stamped No. 7. Reputedly from the RMS Queen Mary. Identical clocks were also fitted to RMS Caronia and Mauretania so it could be from one of those ships. It think this is actually from a refit in the 1940s.
It can be used as a table clock or wall clock and is 146mm (~ 6”) square x 52mm deep. The case is cast from solid metal and is very sturdy.
It has the original, very quiet Alternating Polarity Thomas Mercer mechanism that is powered by the EC5AP impulse driver and powered by a plug in PSU.
Thomas Mercer is recognised as one of the finest clock makers in England if not the world
