Metron Wall Clock - Black wood surround. 1960s-1970s. I think, and comes from Poland.

The clock is 320mm square and 85mm deep.

This clock is running with it's original mechanism and using an impulse driver to keep accurate time. It can run from batteries or from a plug in power supply unit.

The case is relatively thin and has started to bow a little as can be seen - it is now supported in the back so won’t get any worse.

So many of these are being converted to Quartz original versions with a genuine stepping action will become rare.
